5-Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Agadir – Taliouine – Taznakhte – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate:
As soon as we leave your accommodation and move south east, our lovely 5 Days Tour From Agadir To Marrakech will start. As we travel through Taliouine, a little village famous for producing saffron, we’ll pause at one of the cooperatives to enjoy a cup of saffron tea. It’s also a chance to learn how to tell the difference between expensive “genuine” saffron and inexpensive “fake” varieties. We’ll move on to Taznakhte, which is now a significant centre for producing Berber rugs, after a tranquil stay there.
After that, we’ll keep travelling till we reach the magnificent Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou. a kasbah that belonged to one of Morocco’s wealthiest families. The 16th and 17th centuries saw “The Glaoui family” residing in Morocco. Additionally, it is regarded as a superb illustration of Moroccan mud-clay building. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. It was a site that attracted many filmmakers and was included in a number of movies. For instance, “Prince of Persia” and “Gladiator.”
You will be served lunch so that you can dine in this historic kasbah. We’ll then travel to Ouarzazate, dubbed “Africa’s Hollywood,” where the distinctive scenery has drawn many filmmakers to utilise it as a backdrop for their movies. One of Morocco’s biggest film studios, “The Atlas Studio,” will be available for you to tour. After you’ve had a great time in the studio, we’ll take you to your hotel or riad, where you’ll spend the night and have a delectable dinner.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – The Anti Atlas Mountains – Agdz – Nkob – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga:
After breakfast in your lodging in Ouarzazate, we’ll leave for a different location—the breathtaking Merzouga Sahara Desert. We’ll stop along the journey to take in the splendour of the Anti-Atlas Mountains by travelling the road of Tizi N’Tnifift, which is 1660 metres above sea level and gives breath-taking vistas for miles in every direction. We will stop by so you can capture some fantastic shots and enjoy the location.
After a peaceful stay, we’ll travel to the Draa Valley, which used to be the path taken by caravans carrying Saharan traders from “Tombouktou.” You may visit the largest and longest palm grove in the nation in the Draa Valley, which offers breathtaking vistas and a feel for bygone times. After that, we’ll head to Nkob and then Alnif, where you’ll have time to eat lunch in one of the neighbourhood eateries.
After cleaning up, we’ll head back to Rissani, which is a fascinating town. Between the 14th and 18th centuries, it was home to the fabled desert capital “Sijilmassa,” where slaves and fortunes in gold were traded via caravans crossing the Sahel. In this ancient and historically significant area, you’ll visit the biggest regional and traditionalist market (souq) in Southern Morocco. After some time, you will reach Merzouga, where you will spend the evening with an authentic dinner in a hotel or riad.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Nomadic families – Mifis Mines – Khamlia Village( Gnaoua Village):
Our fantastic day will begin from your accommodation after breakfast with an exploration of the wonder Erg Chebbi’s surroundings. To visit the nomadic families who live close to Erg Chebbi’s sand dunes, we will travel off the beaten path. By sharing a cup of mint tea with them, you will get the opportunity to learn about their way of life and how they managed to survive in the Sahara desert.
From there, continue on to the Mifis mines, which are situated on a high plateau and offer a stunning panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the surrounding desert. After that, we’ll travel to Khamlia village (also known as Gnaoua village). The inhabitants of this little community are from Black Africa and have had a deep, long-standing relationship with the Sahara. Their forefathers travelled from central and west Africa to the southeast of Morocco in caravans that crossed the Sahara desert. We will learn more about them and take in some of their folk music.
We’ll enjoy some traditional gnaoua music before savouring some excellent berber pizza for lunch. Then, with a panoramic view of the distinctive Saharan sunset, you will ride your camels into a wonderful world through the sand dunes of Erg Chabbe. After arriving at our camp, you can unwind and enjoy a delicious and traditional Berber (Amazigh) dinner in the middle of the desert. The evening will be spent around the fire listening to Berber music under a sky filled with limitless stars.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Erfoud – The irrigation system – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:
It is advised that you get up early so that you won’t miss one of the most breathtaking sunrises of your life. You will have two options for getting back to the settlement from the camp: either camels or a car. We shall begin our day’s journey to Dades Gorges from there. Erfoud, one of the oldest places known, will be our first trip. Here, you can uncover valuable and rare fossils.
Next, let’s talk about the Irreyation System, which dates back to ancient times and was created in Morocco by a variety of societies that dug hundreds of wells and constructed tunnel networks akin to qanats in Iran and foggaras in Algeria. In Morocco, these structures are known as khettaras. After that, we’ll continue on to Touroug and then Tinjdad, where you’ll have time to eat lunch at one of the town’s eateries.
After healing, we’ll move on to the Todra Gorges, which is our special location. The gorges are the tallest and narrowest in all of Morocco, standing 300 metres high and 20 metres apart at their narrowest. It is also acknowledged as one of the most magnificent canyons in the world. We will then drive to the Dades Gorges, where you will spend the evening with an authentic meal in a Riad/hotel after taking a brief stroll around the enormous cliffs and taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Day 5: Dades Gorges – Roses Valley – Skoura Oasis – The High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:
After breakfast at your Dades Gorges lodging, we’ll return to the Red City (Marrakech). Rose Valley will be our first stop. Stopping to smell the roses is definitely worthwhile. (Friendly Reminder: Late May is the ideal time to view roses.)
then to Skoura Oasis, also referred as as the “route of 1,000 kasbahs.” There, you will get the opportunity to tour Amridil Kasbah, an ancient kasbah. It is the most prized kasbah in Morocco, a marvel from the 17th century. We shall travel to Ourzazate after having a terrific day in the Kasbah.

Tour Reviews
I wish to express my gratitude to Ali, our wonderful guide. He is kind, forgiving, and eager to show you everything. You cannot find a better tour guide than him!
I'd like to thank Morocco's Travel for our 5 day tour from Agadir. I was really fortunate to chose your business for my so many diverse and special times!

The 5-day tour provided us with just what we required:). We saw all of the major tourist attractions, and we always had local guides, so there were no additional locals offering services, which was extremely relaxing after a hectic Marrakesh. Mourad, our driver, was both a guide and a driver. He gave us a lot of information about Morocco and its people. He was quite helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for him. Although private excursions are available, I would prefer doing the group trip because the travel to Merzouga is long and you will have more company. Not to add that the private excursions visit the same locations, so it's not quite private:)

What an incredible trip! My best friend and I had always wanted to ride camels and sleep under the stars, and this vacation did not disappoint! Ali, our tour guide, was certainly the icing on the cake! He was really knowledgeable and helpful, and he even found us wine! He was also a competent photographer (despite the fact that we have hundreds of shots hehe). Visitors to Morocco should surely stay here!
