Morocco tours for every kind of trip

Our Morocco tours take you from the souks of Marrakech and the medina of Fes over the Atlas Mountains, past the kasbahs of the south and out to the Sahara dunes of Erg Chebbi. We are a local team based in Marrakech, in business for over a decade, and every trip runs with our own drivers and vehicles.

Below you will find all our Morocco tour packages, from single activities in Merzouga to an 18-day grand tour. Use the filters to sort by departure city, length and tour type; every itinerary can be adjusted to your dates.

Short trips of one to four days

Ideal if Morocco is part of a longer holiday or a city break. The 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga crosses the High Atlas, stops at Aït Benhaddou and the Dades and Todra gorges, and includes a camel ride and a night in a desert camp. From Fes, the drive to Merzouga takes around 7–8 hours through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas.

One-week Morocco trips

Five to eight days lets you combine an imperial city, the mountains and the desert without rushing. Many travellers start in Marrakech and finish in Fes, or the other way round, so they never retrace their steps.

Grand tours of two weeks or more

With ten to eighteen days you can see the whole country: Tangier and the blue town of Chefchaouen in the north, Rabat, Meknes and Fes, the Sahara, the southern oases and Marrakech, with extra nights wherever you want to slow down.

Morocco itinerary ideas by starting city

Most tours begin in one of six places, and many finish in another, so you can fly into one airport and out of a different one.

  • Marrakech: the most popular starting point. Merzouga is about 560 km away (9–10 hours of driving), so desert trips break the journey in the Dades Valley or Todra Gorge. Heading north afterwards? The 3-day Marrakech to Fes tour via the Sahara ends in Fes.
  • Fes: the closest imperial city to the dunes (around 470 km) and a good base for a day trip to Chefchaouen.
  • Casablanca and Tangier: convenient for international flights and ferries from Spain, and the start of longer circuits such as the 18-day grand tour from Tangier.
  • Agadir: for beach holidaymakers who want to add the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara.
  • Merzouga: already in the desert? Book camel trekking, quad biking or a dune buggy ride on its own.

Private and group tours compared

Private Morocco tours give your party its own vehicle and driver. You choose the departure date, the pace and the stops, and the plan can change along the way. They suit couples, families and friends who value flexibility.

Morocco small group tours follow a set route on fixed departures, sharing the vehicle with other travellers. They are a sociable, budget-friendly option, especially for solo travellers going from Marrakech to the desert or on to Fes.

If neither fits, our tailor-made Morocco tours start from a blank page: tell us your interests and budget and we will draft a route. For riads with a pool and boutique desert camps, ask about our luxury Morocco tours.

Morocco tours: frequently asked questions

How many days do you need for a Morocco tour?

Three days is enough to reach the Sahara from Marrakech or Fes. A week lets you combine the desert with an imperial city and the mountains, and two weeks covers the north, the imperial cities, the Sahara and the south at a relaxed pace.

What is the best time of year to tour Morocco?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) bring mild temperatures across the country. Summer is very hot in the desert and the interior, and from November to March the days are pleasant but desert nights are cold, so pack warm layers.

How much does a Morocco tour cost?

Prices depend on the length of the trip, the size of your group, the accommodation you choose and the season. Each tour page shows live prices and online booking; for a custom route, ask us for a free quote.

Is it safe to travel around Morocco on a tour?

Morocco is one of the most visited countries in Africa, and travelling with a local driver who knows the roads makes things easier still. Read is Morocco safe? for practical tips.

Can I join a tour if I am travelling alone?

Yes. Solo travellers often choose a shared small-group tour for company and a lower price, but private tours are available for one person too.

Can the itinerary be changed?

Yes. Every tour can be adjusted, whether you want an extra night in the desert, a different finishing city or more time in the medinas.
