Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
When you meet with our driver/guide, the tour from Tangier will begin. Then, we proceed toward the Blue City of Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan. Before going to the hotel for the night, we will explore the blue-washed streets, the works of local artists, and the excellent cuisine.
Day 2: A day to discover Chefchaouen
Self to take tour of Chefchaouen (The Blue City), a small town located in the Rif Mountains, after breakfast. The city was founded in 1471. The word “Chef Chaouen,” which means “look at the horns,” is a Berber moniker that gave rise to the city’s name. A peaceful area to hike and unwind is Chefchaouen. Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, we will go to the most significant archaeological site in Morocco, the Roman remains of Volubilis, by way of the Rif Mountains and the Middle Atlas Mountains. You will continue your travels to Fez after continuing to Fes through Meknes, which served as Morocco’s capital under Moulay Ismail’s rule. For the evening, rest in your hotel or riad.
Day 4: Day to discover Fes
We will travel Fes, the oldest and largest mediaeval city in the world, on this day of the tour from Tangier. A local guide will accompany us as we explore the UNESCO-designated historic medina of Fes. The oldest institution in the world, Al Qarawiyin University, the tanneries, and the Souks of the Medina are just a few of the historical places that we will see. We’ll head back to the Riad at the conclusion of the day.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou (Cedar Forest) – Midelt
We will travel to Midelt, known as the Capital of Apples, after breakfast. Ifrane, the city in Morocco that is thought to be the coldest, is one that you will pass through. Because of its housing design and snowfall, Ifrane is often nicknamed as the Switzerland of Morocco. Continue your excursions through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the 3940-foot-high Cedar Forest or Azrou. You may feed these critically endangered Barbary (Macaque) monkeys here. Drive to the city of Midelt from here and check into your hotel.
Day 7: Merzouga – Nomads – Erg Chebbi Dunes
After breakfast, we will transport you to the famous Rissani Souk (Market), where locals go shopping three times every week. You will travel from Rissani to the village of Khamlia to enjoy the African Gnawa Music’s music and dance. You may indulge in an authentic Berber pizza in the village after working up an appetite.After lunch, return to your hotel in Merzouga where camels will be waiting for you as your next means of transportation. Your journey to the tent at the Berber Camp in the sand dunes will take about an hour and a half on your camel. Here, you may sample nomadic life, eat local cuisine, and listen to drum-driven Berber music.
Day 8: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Tinghir – Boumaln Dades
We will start this morning with a magnificent sunrise in the desert before you board your camel and return to the hotel for breakfast. You can explore various forts, the Palmeies Valley, and gorges after breakfast. You will see the irrigation wells from the 17th century as well as a spectacular perspective of the Toda Gorges. You will travel from here to the highest oasis in Morocco, where the mountains reach a height of 300 metres (1000 feet). As you make your way to Boumaln Dades, you will pass via the city of Tinghir. There, you will check into your hotel and unwind for the evening.
Day 9: Dades – Dades Gorges – Mgouna - Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we’ll travel via the Valley of Roses, where the annual Rose Festival is held at the end of May, to get to Ouarzazat. You will keep going until you reach Skoura, an oasis of palm groves. From here, you will go to Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco, where you will stop by the Taourirt Kasbah en route to the film studios. drive to your hotel, have dinner, and spend the night.
Day 10: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
After breakfast, you’ll go from Ouarzazte to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the most well-known Kasbah in all of Morocco. The Kasbah and fortified settlement are located near the Ounila River in the highlands. Since 1987, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Mummy, Alexander, Babel, and The Message are just a few of the movies that been made at the Kasbah. We will proceed through the High Atlas Mountains after the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah trip, where the height reaches 2260 M near Tichka Pass. You will arrive in Marrakech after a hard day to relax for the evening.
Day 11: A day to visit Marrakech
Following breakfast, you will tour Marrakech. The Amazigh (Berber) words MUR (n) AKUSH, which mean “Land of God,” are the source of the name Marrakech. The magnificent Atlas Mountains’ foothills are where Marrakech is located. The Tombs of the Saadians, Palais Bahia, Garden Majorelle, the Kotoubia Mosque, and Jamaa Lafna Square and the Souks will be among the most fascinating places you will see in Marrakech. Jamaa Lafna’s central square is teeming with boutiques, handicrafts, entertainment venues, and a variety of eateries.
Day 12: Marrakech - Ouzoud Waterfalls - Marrakech
After breakfast, we will begin our day of touring from Tangier to Marrakech via the most stunning Middle Atlas locations. Day 14: Marrakech - Essaouira - Marrakech
